The California School Boards Association (CSBA) proudly announces its annual Call for Entries for the 2014 Golden Bell Awards Program.


The Golden Bell Awards Program, now in its 35th year!  Help CSBA recognize the countless innovative programs in California that are making a demonstrated difference for students; Apply for a 2014 Golden Bell Award by June 30. We aim to recognize the governing boards that support, sustain and inspire these programs throughout a school district or county office of education. Programs of all types may be eligible, ranging from after-school programs to career preparatory programs to new ways of applying technology in the classroom.

In addition, Golden Bell Award winners will receive special recognition at the Awards Luncheon held in conjunction with CSBA’s Annual Education Conference on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in San Francisco.
I encourage you to share this information with the appropriate district, county and school staff members and invite their participation.  You can access the information at our Web site, to apply online.

CSBA is proud of the enthusiastic support this program has received over the past 35 years.  The awards program is one way of promoting high quality education for the students of California and it enables us to share these successes with other districts, county offices, the media and the public.
